Fables and Fallacies
There is nothing anyone loves more than a good tale - and Middle Eastern archaeology abounds with them, from the "Slave Sphinxes" described by one German author to the "Bible Code" that can only be interpreted by computer. Many of the tales concern the two arks - Noah's ark or the ark of the covenant. Here we expose some of the most common of these fables.
We also devote an entire page to the so-called "Bible Code", explaining what it is and why it is a fake.
In addition we comment on two religious groups which have misused archaeology in support of erroneous doctrines.
