Heretics and Gold
The story that lies behind the boy-king of Egypt, Tutankhamun, is almost as fascinating as the story of how his tomb was discovered. In this lecture we learn of the heretic king and his doomed love for the most beautiful woman in Egypt, of the religious heresy that drove him from his capital and caused the disintegration of his empire. Then we turn to his heir, the young boy Tutankhaten, and examine the fabulous treasures that filled his tomb.
