From the very earliest attacks on the Bible, the science of archaeology has turned up evidence to refute them. Again and again, the discoveries of the archaeologist have come "just in time" to disprove the latest folly of the critics. The lecture looks at four significant claims made against the Bible and examines the discoveries that answer them.
This is an illustrated lecture given by Kendall Down in the Gateway Centre, Shrewsbury and was part of a series of events organised by local churches to mark the 150th anniversary of Darwin's "Origin of Species".
