According to the Bible, Solomon ruled a mighty empire that spread from the border with Egypt to the Euphrates. In this film David Down visits the principle centres of that kingdom in Syria and the Lebanon to explore the archaeological remains of Baalbek, Palmyra, Ebla, Ugarit, Byblos, Tyre and other places.
