Google Earth

Google Earth is a great program which allows you to view the earth from space in amazing detail. As a result of a good deal of hunting around we are including here some of the coordinates we have found for archaeological sites. You should be able to copy and paste these into Google Earth's search box.

If you do not already have Google Earth installed on your computer, it is well worth while, particularly as it is entirely free. Once you have installed it, please note the option in the lower left of "Geographical". Ticking on this will enable you to access thousands of photographs that other visitors have uploaded. Unfortunately, these visitors have not always been as careful as they should have been at placing their photographs in the correct location!
